Teaching Truth International (TTI) exists to teach the forgotten pastors who serve in the hidden corners of the world. We do this by teaching them courses in the Bible and the sound doctrine within it, based on our foundational verse, 2 Timothy 2:2, “What you [Timothy] have heard from me [Paul] in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also.”
In 2013, we began providing Bible training in Mbeya, Tanzania with a group of about 30 pastors. Since then, over 500 pastors and church leaders from 13 countries and dozens of people groups have attended the annual training conferences. These pastors return home and teach what they have learned to their churches or plant new churches in Southeast Africa. Forty-five (45) of these pastors host monthly training conferences in their own remote villages to spread the training to the pastors who cannot travel to Mbeya.
The current training site in Mbeya is overwhelmed by the number of God’s faithful servants who attend annually. To better support TTI’s training, we are building a Bible Training Center and Pastoral Resource Center in conjunction with our partnering African organization, Teaching Truth Mission Africa (TTMA). This will provide a safe academic setting and is designed to be financially self-supporting.
Construction of Phase 1 is underway! It includes the teaching hall, kitchen, outdoor cafeteria, and a small office building. To finish the entire four-phase project, we hope to raise $1,000,000 in the next year. With your support, TTI and TTMA can expand and better serve the growing ministry in Southeast Africa.
At the conclusion of a recent training session in Mbeya, a spokesman for the pastors said, “Please do not get tired of coming to teach us the Bible!”
Will you consider partnering with us in supporting the expanding ministry in Southeast Africa?
